Come make one of our favorite halloween decorations: Spooky Block Monsters! You’ll get to create 3 different sized creatures. Mimic one of our designs or get creative with a monster all your own. Base layer colors are pre-applied so you can get right to the fun stuff. See you there for a messy, creative, spooky-good time!

Learn to weave a Josephine knot reed basket — a stylish twist on the classic ribbed basket. Perfect for intermediate makers of all skill levels, the class guides you step-by-step through constructing a sturdy ribbed frame and incorporating the decorative Josephine knot pattern to create a functional, attractive basket you’ll be proud to take home.

What you’ll learn

• Learn a distinctive, decorative technique that elevates ribbed baskets

• Creating and spacing the classic Josephine knot weave for a raised, textured band

• Integrating the knot band with standard plain weave to finish the body

• Tips for tension, reed preparation, and troubleshooting common issues

What’s provided

• All tools and materials: pre-cut reed, spokes/ribs, weaving reed in appropriate sizes, clippers, clamps, and finishing tools

• Instructor demonstration, guided practice, and individual assistance as needed

• Enthusiasm and comfortable clothing you don’t mind getting a little bit of reed clippings on
