Musgrove Willows' Black Maul White Willow

$56.00

Musgrove Willows’ Black Maul White Willow is stripped and dried to create white willow rods. The variety of willow and the timing of the stripping play a big part in the quality of the end product. It’s also worth remembering that white willow isn’t ‘paper’ white, it is a slightly creamy color. White willow can be used on its own or as an accent to brown or buff willow projects.

Key characteristics

  • Natural, bark-stripped white willow.

  • Strength and flexibility suitable for baskets, sculptural weaving, furniture accents, and craft projects.

Because the bark is stripped, these rods absorb water and rehydrate at a different rate than standard brown willow. See our soaking guide for more information.

  • Sold in 2 lb bundles.

    • 4ft is about 200-220 rods

    • 5ft is about 150-160 rods

    • 6 ft is about 80-90 rods

  • Lengths measured by the foot, with typical tolerances:
